Three contestants try again and again to say what is plainly in front of them! Also I’m behind the camera, laughing a little, and my parakeet chirps in the back as well.

this is why we in the army stay away from shows like this……

@antiotter Did you only read the first part of my comment and decide to reply?

@Lesliehope
You’ve spent your entire career stationed overseas? You have a career that requires you to be at work at 6am? You have a job where your co-workers would probably kick your ass if you admitted to watching “Regis and Kelly?” You’re a male with a sperm count above zero?

How can you not know who Regis and Kelly are? They’ve been famous for years and years. I suppose this is a sign we watch too much tv if we know how to pronounce their names:)

@mcsmellypants It’s a rule you have to pronounce the puzzle correctly…it always has been.

lol I just saw this on this morning’s Regis & Kelly show (1/6) and I thought it was bloopers that they didn’t include in the episode’s final cut. This is so funny! Who has never heard of Regis & Kelly? “PhilBRIN,” “PhilMAN,” “Reepa,” “Rypa . . .” It’s RIP-A!”

Haahahaha..

so, wait, they didn’t pronounce it correctly and thats why none of them got it?
written by bubblinbrownsugar616 January 6th, 2010 at 20:35 | #11
When they solve the puzzle, they have to pronounce it right. They said Phil-MIN, RE-pa, Phil-GRIN (I think I heard) and RYE-pa.
They didn’t say Phil-BIN and RIP-a. That’s why they couldn’t except it.
Hope you got it. I was starting to confuse my own self!! LOLOL!!

@stooge81 Yeah…because they couldn’t pronounce a name correctly…
written by sheeporchickens January 6th, 2010 at 20:35 | #13
I don’t get it. They said the correct answer five times? How are you supposed to pronounce ‘Ripa’ anyway?
written by its420fresh January 6th, 2010 at 20:35 | #14
Aww man this needs to be seen, I can’t stop laughing!
written by antiotter January 6th, 2010 at 20:35 | #15
@stooge81
Meh. I was in a Recon battalion. You’d probably get your ass kicked for admitting you watch “Regis & Kelly.”
Besides, being at work at 5am means you never see a weekday morning show.

That almost reminded me of the SNL sketch with Tom Hanks as Pat Sajak.
